"When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, 'The LORD is with you, mighty warrior. ' After finding Gideon threshing in a winepress, an act of fear, it is extremely ironic that the angel calls Gideon "mighty warrior" (NIV, NRSV) or "mighty man of valor" (KJV).
