Sam Fender to support Bruce Springsteen on upcoming summer 2023 shows. The guitarist and vocalist is known as the “Geordie Springsteen”. Musician Sam Fender has announced he will support Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band for two upcoming shows in Italy next year.
The brief summer tour of 1973 when the E Street Band opened for Chicago was far from the band's happiest (advertisements for some venues didn't even list Springsteen's appearance).
Loren Gold, who had substituted for Pardini in August and September 2021, began appearing with the group on vocals and keyboards for tour dates starting in January 2022. Gold officially joined the band on keyboards and vocals in March 2022.
2022 will mark the band's 55th consecutive year of touring, with the original three band members, Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet and vocals, and James Pankow on trombone. The band line-up also includes Wally Reyes, Jr.
The Springsteen and E Street Band 2023 Tour is an upcoming concert tour by American singer Bruce Springsteen and his backing band the E Street Band. The tour is scheduled to begin on February 1, 2023, in Tampa. The tour marks the first time since 2017 that Springsteen and the E Street Band have toured together.

Yet, for fans of Bruce Springsteen, the recent selling of his master recordings and music publishing rights to Sony for $500 million, according to Billboard, does strike a personal note. “It's already an emotional thing,” said entertainment lawyer David Chidekel, a partner at Early Sullivan Wright Gizer & McRae.

Springsteen on Broadway tickets typically starts around $225 for a standard seat in the balcony section of the theater. Springsteen and the E Street Band will play arenas in the U.S. and stadiums in Europe next year. A second North American tour leg will start in August 2023 after the stadium shows in Europe.

The 2023 tour will be some of the first live shows for Springsteen and The E Street Band since their 14-month-long 'The River' worldwide tour, which concluded in Australia in 2017. The only recent live performance was in 2020 when Bruce and the band performed for Saturday Night Live.
